Last checked: July 30, 2026. USJ prices, inventory and assigned time windows can change. This article separates the confirmed ticket mechanisms and eligibility rules; the live checkout screen remains the final source for your date.

The practical answer is simple: every guest first needs valid Studio Pass admission. Express Pass only shortens waits at specified attractions and does not replace admission. Official-app Timed Entry eTickets control access to selected experiences, while tickets such as Lights Out or All Night cover a separate event. Start with no more than two must-dos per person, then work backward from eligibility and fixed time slots.

For event dates, family planning, hotels and transport, begin with the USJ Halloween 2026 guide. This page owns the ticket decision only.

USJ Halloween 2026 tickets have four separate layers

Studio Pass covers park entry and standard attraction access. The official lineup currently lists one-day starting prices of ¥8,900 for adults, ¥5,700 for children and ¥8,000 for seniors, with date-based pricing. Universal Express Pass is an optional queue-reduction product. Timed Entry eTickets are app-issued time reservations for selected areas or attractions. Separately ticketed experiences include Lights Out and the All Night event. Multiple layers can apply to one visitor and none automatically replaces another.

USJ explicitly states that Express Pass and event-only tickets do not provide park admission. Purchases are generally nonrefundable except where required by law, and date-change rules depend on the product. Verify every participant before checkout.

How to choose the four 2026 Halloween Express products

The Resident Evil set includes Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive, Sadako's Curse, Jurassic Park - The Ride in the Dark and Hollywood Dream - The Ride. It fits travelers who prioritize Resident Evil and night overlays and whose entire group meets Resident Evil's eligibility rules.

The Chainsaw Man set includes Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4-D, Jurassic Park in the Dark, Hollywood Dream - The Ride and Factory of Fear. It suits guests who want an anime collaboration, a 4-D experience, thrill rides and one walk-through horror maze.

The Factory of Fear set includes Factory of Fear, Resident Evil, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and JAWS: Red Alert. Because two included mazes carry strict age restrictions, it can be poor value for a mixed group.

The Express Pass 3+1 Halloween Set & Lights Out includes Lights Out, Factory of Fear, Jurassic Park in the Dark and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Lights Out is an R-18 experience: guests age 17 or under are not admitted, a waiver is required on the day, and the experience is conducted in Japanese. It is not a general family bundle.

USJ announced the three Halloween Express Pass 4 products from ¥11,800, with live prices varying by date and inventory. The 3+1 Lights Out set went on sale around 9:00 p.m. on July 27; confirm its live price, assigned times and stock at checkout.

A Timed Entry eTicket is not an Express Pass

Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive runs September 11–December 27, requires an official-app Timed Entry eTicket and supports selected Express products. Guests age 14 or under and junior-high students are not admitted. USJ notes that direct access may occasionally be possible depending on operations, but that exception is not a planning strategy.

Factory of Fear runs September 11–November 8, may require an eTicket and has the same prohibition for guests age 14 or under and junior-high students. KATE PRESENTS Witches of House 18 requires an app eTicket; guests age 12 or under, or elementary-school age and under, are not admitted. Child Switch is available, but neither an eTicket nor Child Switch overrides eligibility.

From January 5, 2026, same-day SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Area Timed Entry and lottery tickets are issued only in the official app. The word “Express” does not guarantee Nintendo World entry; inspect the exact product and assigned times.

Who should buy Express Pass

Express has the highest value for a first visit, a one-day trip, two or more must-dos in the same bundle and low tolerance for long waits. A flexible weekday visitor with only one horror priority may prefer early entry and eTickets. Families and mixed-scare groups should check age, school grade, height and comfort per person instead of buying one identical bundle for convenience.

Five checks before payment

Confirm the Studio Pass date. Check every guest's age, school grade, height and health criteria. Match the exact four attractions in the Express product. Put all assigned times on one timeline. Only then compare total cost. Save screenshots of the product name, date, time windows and change or cancellation terms after payment.
